In late October 2024, we conducted a demonstration using the “Touch, Create, and Taste Picture Book” at Plug and Play headquarters in Silicon Valley, USA.
On the day of the event, we invited event organizers and their families to experience a demonstration of making nerikiri using the “Touch, Create, and Taste Picture Book.” Participants were given the opportunity to create nerikiri themselves.
Attendees showed great interest, asking questions about the ingredients and flavors, and enjoyed the hands-on experience of working with nerikiri, a traditional Japanese sweet that is rarely encountered in daily life.
Through opportunities like this, we aim to introduce lesser-known aspects of Japanese cuisine to the world and develop innovative products related to Japanese food.
